Life Inside A Sturmtiger Tank (Cross Section)
Experience warfare like never before! Men of War II - bit.ly/SimpleHistory_MoWII_Steam - the anticipated sequel to the highly acclaimed RTS franchise is here with all-new units, locations, campaigns, game modes and true trademarks of the series: historical fidelity and action-filled gameplay on the Eastern and Western Fronts of WWII!
When tanks are designed, a number of factors are considered before the ideas on the drawing board eventually roll off the production line. Factors such as top speed, armor, fuel efficiency, ease of production, as well as strategic and tactical considerations are all taken into account before they join front line service. Sometimes, however, designers do away with such ideas as subtlety, and opt for raw power.
To this end, German engineers created the Sturmtiger, an immense vehicle that saw combat in the later portions of the war, from the chaos of the Warsaw Uprising, to the last gasp of the Third Reich in the Ardennes and Remagen, and signaled a final throw of the dice for the Wehrmacht.

Medieval Castles needed to be multiple things at once. They needed to be reflections of the leaders they represented - large and stately, suitable for housing the most important people in the world and surrounding them with luxury. But they also needed battlegrounds and strong fortifications that strengthened the defences of a town or city - therefore deterring invasion. The focal point of the ...

Don't under estimate the Enfield SMLE NO.4 (or the no1, no.2 etc)... "With the amount of firepower coming out of their trenches we thought the position was heavily defended by a entire division... only later did we find out that it was just a couple of rundown squads armed with SMLE's (No.1's)." - Multiple German Officers during WW1.

The ending hit home... As it was officially the start of the and of the Empire... and it was not coerced into submission... it chose to spend what little it had left on Europe... after pumping everything else into trying to liberate Europe and Asia... I can think of more horrid ways of a Empire coming to an end...

The Iron Curtain did not consist of just the Berlin Wall, other borders remain obscure and forgotten: Czechoslovak border with FRG and Austria, Hungarian border also with Austria and Yugoslavia, Romanian border with Yugoslavia, Bulgarian border with Greece, Turkey, and Yugoslavia, Soviet border with Turkey, Iran, Norway and Finland I hope someone makes videos about those borders (how were they guarded, how did people escape them, etc.) someday.

All members of the crew were in great danger but the belly gunner was sometimes stuck in the turret when they had their hydraulic system shot out and died by being crushed in the turret while landing saving the ship and other crew members.
